The World’s 50 Best Restaurants 新評議委員長就任2025/11/07
このたび、The World’s 50 Best Restaurants および Asia’s 50 Best Restaurants における日本の評議委員長に就任することになりました。
数週間前に本部から突然オファーをいただき、まったく予想していなかったのですが、10年以上にわたってこの役割を担ってこられた中村孝則さんへの敬意を込めて、引き受けることにしました。
評議委員長としての主な役割は、ガイドラインに沿ってバランスの取れた形で日本国内の投票者を任命することです。アジア版の投票がすぐにも始まるため、急ピッチで準備を進める所存です。
引き続き、日本だけでなく世界のガストロノミーを盛り上げる一助となれるよう尽力しますので、よろしくお願いします。
I’m pleased to share that I’ve been appointed as the new Chair of the Japan Voting Academy for The World’s 50 Best Restaurants, as well as Asia’s 50 Best Restaurants.
It was completely unexpected when I was approached just a few weeks ago, but I’ve accepted the role with deep respect for my predecessor, Mr. Takanori Nakamura, who has led the Japan Academy with remarkable dedication for over a decade.
As Chair, my primary responsibility is to appoint a balanced panel of voters across Japan, in accordance with the guidelines. With the Asia voting cycle just around the corner, I’ll be hitting the ground running.
